A letter from argentina to usa help?

Question

A friend sent me a letter back in april.
Still here in usa waiting for it. But nothing...
Im begining to lose hope at this point. And it is really special this letter.. Its just a normal letter but it shouldn't of took this long...
Any help advice ideas would be gladly appreciated... Thanks.

I gave you the answer before, but I'll add a bit more. Once a letter is in a foreign post office, like in Latin America, Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, anything basically goes. They do not have the security standards of the USA, Canada, UK, Australia post offices. Actually, anything can happen to one single letter. It may have been torn up in a sorting machine. Things have been known to disappear in the banana republic post offices. Next time, your friend should at least send it registered mail. It might have a chance. It would be a small miracle if it showed up 3 months late.
